Setting New Benchmarks: India’s first GARANT MATADOR NSL at Someshwar Graphics
The project at Someshwar Graphics marks a milestone for India’s paper bag market. The first installation of its kind strengthens production capabilities and showcases the company as a forward-looking partner for efficient, high-quality, and sustainable packaging solutions.

Someshwar Graphics & Prints Pvt. Ltd., part of the Malpani Group in Sangamner, Maharashtra, has expanded its paper bag production with the installation of a GARANT MATADOR NSL flat and satchel bag machine.
This investment highlights Someshwar Graphics’ commitment to efficient, flexible, and reliable production processes. With this machine, the company can consistently produce high-quality paper bags and maintain stable results in daily operations. Rajesh Malpani, Chairman of the Malpani Group, emphasizes: “We thank the entire GARANT and W&H team for their hard work during the internal commissioning phase to get this machine set up and production ready.”
The installation is the first GARANT machine at Someshwar Graphics and the first of its kind in India – an important milestone for the site’s production capabilities. The outstanding performance and seamless integration of the machine have already led to a significant follow-up investment, with the client placing orders for three additional machines a strong vote of confidence and a remarkable milestone in this partnership.
From the very beginning, teams from GARANT in Lengerich, WINDMÖLLER & HÖLSCHER India, and Someshwar Graphics worked closely together to integrate the machine seamlessly into existing production workflows. Marvin Fischer, GARANT Area Sales Manager, explains: “Close collaboration allowed us to develop practical solutions that perfectly meet the production requirements of Someshwar Graphics.”
GARANT also established a dedicated team of Indian service technicians, trained in Lengerich, Germany. This enables Someshwar Graphics to access fast on-site support from the local, India-based GARANT team whenever needed, ensuring smooth daily operation of the machine.

Since its commissioning at the end of 2025, the MATADOR NSL has delivered stable and reliable performance under real production conditions with maximum speed. Reliable processing of various locally sourced paper types, including bagasse-based grades and integration of GARANT Production Monitoring (GPM) for transparent process tracking and stable operations.
